Join the adventure - spots available for the Swiss Alps Trip

Applications are still open for the Adventure Society's winter mountaineering skills trip to the Swiss Alps in 2025.  

This 7-day trip will take place in December. Students will have the chance to learn a range of winter mountaineering skills including: 

• Snow shoeing  

• Ice and crampon use 

• Avalanche transceiver use and searches 

• Snow belays 

• Emergency shelters  

• Snow pits  

• Ascent of a major peak in winter conditions 

We will be staying at the amazing mountain lodge pictured on the poster, fully catered for. All technical mountaineering equipment will be provided. We can take a maximum of 14 students, and we are happy to take students from any year group.  

This is an amazing opportunity to do something really different and exciting.
