School choirs perform a range of festive musical delights
To bring a busy term to a close, Salopians have treated audiences to a range of festive performances.
The choir were on superb form for their first Carol Service on Sunday evening, despite awful weather, their beautifully blended timbre and joyous festive singing lifted the mood of everyone present. The brass, percussion and organ provided an impressive addition which sounded professional from beginning to end.
The second service saw the whole school congregate in St Chad’s on Monday for another spectacular occasion which provided the perfect blend of congregational unity alongside the more intricate carols provided by the Chamber and Chapel choirs. We very much look forward to our third service on Friday.
Throughout the week there have been a number of soloists, all of whom should be congratulated for their impressive contributions.
