Over the first week of the Easter break the J15 Rowers took part in a four-day camp based at the School.

The camp provided a great opportunity to make technical progress with back-to-back sessions with video analysis. The inclement weather never dampened spirits with great progress made. Both squads got the opportunity to go to Bomere Pool to get some time out in small boats without having to deal with the challenge provided by the relatively fast flowing River Severn.

The familiar setting of the EDH provided a great base for the camp and the sounds of the piano in constant use and dance competitions using the Nintendo Switch provided some entertaining downtime and team bonding.

On the final day the crews were combined to make four mixed eights and were fortunate to have the assistance of two of the 1st VIII rowers joining the fray. The final session saw the mixed eights getting some head-to-head racing past the boathouse before tucking into a well-deserved barbeque.
