Shrewsbury School features in The Cricketer's Schools Guide Top 100

Shrewsbury School has been featured in the Top 100 Senior Schools in this year’s The Cricketer's Schools Guide. 

We have been pleased to feature in this prestigious list multiple times over the years, as the cricket programme at Shrewsbury goes from strength to strength.  

2024's successful roll call of schools – which features both state-funded and private establishments – was finalised after an exhaustive selection process that saw a huge number submit entries for inclusion in the guide. 

All entries were then judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching. 

Director of Cricket at Shrewsbury School, Will Hughes said: “It is an honour to be included again and reward for all the hard work that everyone puts in to make Shrewsbury a top cricket school. 

“It is down to the whole team: coaches, players, groundstaff and caterers. A huge thanks to everyone!”
